Remit to Amend the Constitution

This remit proposes that the following words be added as additional parts to each of 6.3.1,
6.3.2, and 6.3.3.

No New Zealand bred horse shall be registered under this section unless the person
registering the horse provides a stallion breeding certificate signed by the stallion owner.

Purpose of Remit
The purpose of this Remit is to provide some protection to the stallion owner in cases where
mare owners who have had their mare served by a stallion, but the mare owner has not
fulfilled their obligations related to the service (for example gelding, payments, breach of
contract, etc).
